Ellen Browning Scripps Park is the La Jolla ‘Seaside Crown Jewel’, and was first laid out and developed in 1887. This world-wide destination of a park is visited by over a million residents and visitors annually.

However, decades of deferred maintenance has turned this grand lady of a park into a weathered and worn site. Scripps Park is one of the Conservancy’s top priorities for a comprehensive and holistic design solution that will serve everyone and the community for decades to come.
