The Belvedere above Boomer Beach is the most popular of the four historic Belvederes along the coast. With incredible scenic views overlooking the bluffs, and proximity to where the sea lions haul-out— its a shame that this most iconic and La Jolla classic structure remains closed and chained. Erosion from mostly irrigation runoff has undermined parts of its foundation, and either needs to be shored up or moved.
