The Belvedere above Boomer Beach has been the most popular and photographed of the four historic Belvederes along the coast. With incredible scenic views overlooking the bluffs, and proximity to where the sea lions haul-out— its a shame that this iconic La Jolla center-piece remains closed and chained. Erosion from mostly irrigation runoff has undermined parts of its foundation, and either needs to be shored up or moved.
