The historic Coast Walk Trail Bridge and stairs have been failing for years, and in critical need of rebuilding. The Trail is very popular and well-traversed by walkers enjoying the most scenic of views above the bluffs and caves.

However, the railings are flimsy, the stairs and worn and uneven, and the bridge itself is a safety hazard and needs work now. Fortunately, there’s a City permit in hand, and work is expected to begin and complete in Summer/Fall 2025.
