The Children’s Pool is almost 100 years old, and the seawall has experienced significant deterioration and crumbling over time. In recent years, winter storms have periodically crashed and broken the railing, leading to periodic closures. There’s been an engineering analysis performed on the seawall, and concluded the entire structure needs to be completely rebuilt to last and be accessible for the next 100 years.
